Baba Ajay Singh Khalsa College is a prominent educational institution in the region. Established in 2014–15 in honor of the supreme martyrdom of Baba Ajay Singh Ji, the college was initially known as Girl College. It began its first academic session with 87 female students, offering programs such as B.A., B.Sc. (Medical), B.Sc. (Non-Medical), B.Com, B.C.A., and P.G.D.C.A.
The college provides necessary infrastructure and facilities, including well-equipped computer and science laboratories and other essential resources.

During the 2015–16 academic session, the college significantly broadened its academic horizon by introducing programs such as B.Sc. Economics, B.Sc. Computer Science, DCA, and other skill-oriented courses. In response to the educational needs of students from neighboring areas, a complimentary bus service from Dhariwal was also launched. The following year (2016–17) witnessed the introduction of new disciplines, including Religious Studies and Psychology, further enriching the academic spectrum.

The SGPC established a dispensary at Gurdas Nangal in association with the Guru Ram Das Institute, ensuring free medical consultations and medicines for the local population, thereby strengthening community welfare initiatives.

To foster excellence in sports and physical development, the college developed an expansive 6-acre sports complex comprising a hockey field, volleyball courts, and a 400-meter athletic track. These facilities serve not only the college students but also aspiring athletes from the surrounding region.

Each academic year commences with the divine blessings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. On the foundation day, students collectively observe Sukhmani Sahib Path, Shabad Kirtan, and the traditional art of Kavishri in the august presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, reflecting the institution’s deep-rooted spiritual ethos.

Students of the college actively participate in competitions organized by the Punjab Government, the University, and SGPC, consistently earning accolades and distinction in literary, cultural, religious, and academic pursuits.

Over the past decade, the institution has achieved exemplary and comprehensive growth.
