Principal's Message

We aim to provide knowledge, skills, abilities, attitude and beliefs that are essential for a productive and successful life. We see education as forming a sound foundation for life-long learning. Our mission is to support students in meeting the challenges they face, and to help them reach their goals. As a teacher, I know how important it is to choose the right college. We believe that it is critical to teach students to apply what they learn.

In this 21st Century, the education scenario is changing by leaps and bounds. Experimentation seems to dominate the zone of the education leading to uniformation and internalization of the education system. I am proud of being the principal of such a wonderful institution dedicated to the cause of better future of students.

This place(Gurdas Nangal) is holy as it is touched by the feet of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. I wish you all the best for achieving greater success and scaling heights in your education and career ahead. Baba Ajay Singh Khalsa College is a new milestone in the history of SGPC where the committee decided to build in the name of Baba Ajay Singh the only son of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. He was also killed in the presence of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur.

The building of this institute is a humble homage of the Sikh Community to the supreme sacrifice of Banda ,his son and his follwers. My head bows in front of the almighty in gratitude for choosing me to serve this institute established after a glorious name in Sikh history.Since the college has been recently established, we will strive to make it an ideal college in the area. Our efforts will be to instill in our students a spirit to adhere to the basic principles of Sikhism. At the same we shall leave no stone unturned to prepare our students in such a way that they will be able to make a respectable place for themselves in life. To achieve the goals we are highly grateful to S. Avtar Singh Ji President of SGPC for his magnanimous support and encouragement in running the college nicely.

"We cannot always build the future for our youth, But we can build our youth for the future."
